Happy Halloween!

(Brendan the cop, Colin the Bears player, Finn the Blackhawks player, Saoirse the monkey, Ellie the disco queen, Olivia the pig, and Seamus the Pirates player)

Olivia the Pig

Our little pig loved trick-o-treating and totally got the hang of running from house to house like a crazy person.  And she was no dumby, trying to grab as many pieces of candy as she could.   Whenever she would fall behind, she'd shout "hey hey hey" and run her little pig behind to catch up with her cousins.

Pre-Halloween Party: A Piggy Preview

Such a fun pre-Halloween event at the OPCC with the Peros today.  Shockingly, Olivia kept her piggy head on the whole time!

Backpack Backpack

Olivia was obsessed with Ellie's backpack.
Guess we should put a backpack on Liv's Christmas wish list.

Party of Five

For the past few days, we've been a family of five with Ellie and Brendan staying with us while their parents are in Paris.  Olivia was thoroughly delighted by their presence.
There was lots of playing wii, playing games, a movie night and Saturday morning soccer.
Olivia was very sad when it was time for them to go home.

Wiggly Woes

Poor Olivia has had a bad chest cold and is getting all her molars at the same time.  Luckily for her, Sam recently introduced Olivia to watching "The Wiggles" on television.  She is addicted.  Literally she crawls up on the couch, gets under the covers and hands you the remote saying "show."  She really is her father's daughter.

Pumpkin Prep

We got into the Halloween spirit by testing out our costumes and decorating pumpkins at an event at Irish Times.  We'll definitely be ready by the 31st!

18 Months Old!

Our little girl is officially 1.5 years old!  It feels like her baby days are well behind her and we're in full toddler mode.  She is as sweet as ever and getting more words each week.  There has been lots of love devoted to baby doll recently and we're working on being gentle.  She loves books and music, so our days are filled with tunes and stories.  Occasionally she has total meltdowns and previews of her potential terrible twos tantrums.  She definitely has a flare for the dramatic.

We've entered our fall schedule of events and Liv has really been enjoying each of them so far. She likes getting out of the house and I like her getting her energy out too.

Tuesdays: parent-toddler class
Wednesdays: hear Mr. Singer perform at the Farm in the Zoo and then gymnastics
Thursdays: art class
Mondays/Fridays: visit the zoo/museum or play with cousins/friends

New words: choo-choo, boat, moo, roar, hot, shoes, coat, bath, cheese
Favorite Song: "Row Row Row Your Boat"
Favorite Activity: Playing with and feeding baby doll
Favorite Books: "10 Trick O Treaters" and "From Head to Toe"
