Happy birthday Daddy/Sam!

32 looks good on you! May you continue to get richer, wiser and even happier in this next year. You are an exceptional father, husband and friend. We love you!

Graham is 13 months old today and seems to be getting bigger by the day. He understands a ton and responds when you give him commands. He can find his head, clap his hands and touch his belly. At times, it really sounds like he repeats words/sounds that we make as well. His mischievous spirit has required us to re-baby proof the house because he gets into things that Olivia never did like garbage cans and the oven. He figured out how to crawl up on the couch this week, but obviously has no regard for falling off. And when you catch him doing something naughty, his cackle laugh is hysterical. He considers his sister and cousins as the perfect entertainment, until he tries to pull their hair or wrestle them. It's very true when they say boys are different than girls!

First Trip to the Dentist

Liv did pretty good for her first dentist appointment. The excitement about the stuffed animals with teeth, cool sunglasses, and a tv on the ceilings were quickly dismissed when they actually tried to clean her teeth. A few tears and some loving restraining by mom and her teeth were clean.

The Poop Excuse

Olivia has started to put poop in the potty this week, which is very exciting for all of us. Yet, she's also discovered that using it as an excuse delays taking naps or going to bed. She's a smart one.
