Ice Cream Faces

15 Months Old!

Graham turns 15 months old today and he continues to bring joy and laughter to our little family on a daily basis. He's can be sweet and cuddly one minute and be crazy and wild the next. He plays shy and attached to me initially, but quickly warms up and shows his silly personality. Liv and G play very well together, until he starts to pull her hair and squeals in delight. He's loving climbing all over the park, going down the slides, and can actually scoot along on Liv's scooter. He's super coordinated and able to get up and off furniture on his own.

His absolute favorite toy is the little green guitar and he carries it everywhere around the house with him (I need to document this because it's hysterical). It's particularly cute when he climbs up on the couch, sits back and starts strumming away.

Teeth: Six.  Four on top, two on bottom (with two more on the verge of breaking thru).

Adventures of the Big Girl Bed

Liv has her new big girl bed, dresser and big girl freedom in her room.  Now if only we could get her to stay in there when we put her to bed. The list of excuses go something like this:

• My belly is still hungry.
• I forgot to clean up my toys.
• Grahamie is keeping me up (he's always already sound asleep).
• My belly is sick.
• I have to go pee/poop. My diaper is wet.
• There are monsters in my room.
• I need my _____ (teddy bear, headband, lovies, etc)
• It's not dark enough yet.
• I slept good!  (This one she declares as if it's morning, even though she has yet to sleep at all)
• I need water.
• Water makes my belly sick.
• I hear something.  
• I not tired yet.

Here is a preview of what we experience on a nightly basis as she creeps upstairs and lingers outside our bedroom for a minute or two before declaring her excuse for not being in bed. Note: we don't put her to bed wearing a flower headband, but she inevitably accessories herself.

Little Goldfish

My littles have started swim lessons at Goldfish Swim school and we are all loving it. It's the most welcoming environment and they seriously have smiles from ear-to-ear the entire time we are there. (It doesn't hurt that Ellie, B and Colin also take lessons at the same time too.)

Sam keeps asking for video.  Apparently he doesn't understand that I am also in the pool with G.

Party like Potter

Liv and I were lucky enough to celebrate Ellie's 9th birthday today at her Harry Potter party.  We loved the photo booth!

Meeska Mouska Mickey Mouse!

We finally got the chance to celebrate Liv's 3rd birthday with our family tonight and we also got to celebrate Ellie's 9th birthday to double the fun.  The Mickey Mouse festivities were a hit with "Olivia's Clubhouse Bingo," "Pin the Ears on Liv/Ellie," a Hot Diggity Dog bar, Daddy's homemade french fries, and a make-your-own ice cream sundae bar.

Groupee

Liv loves local kid artist Little Miss Ann ever since we took a class with her two years ago. (I have to admit that I love her too and know all the words.) Our little fan was front row this morning at the concert rocking out and having a blast. G sat on my lap taking it all in and watching the bands every move.

And Graham continued to rock out on his guitar all afternoon.

Princess Olivia

Liv is extremely into princesses these days, often referring to herself as "Princess Olivia" and her brother, "Prince Grahamie." So as a treat, we bought the Cinderella DVD to have a movie night. She loved every second of it (except when she cried when Cinderella left her glass slipper behind and her fancy dress disappeared).

Revived and Relaxed

Our quick trip to Mexico was perfect. We slept, ate, drank, spa'ed and got a little burnt in the warm sun. Happy early 5th anniversary to us! Now back to our sweet and crazy babies!!

Mickey Mouse Birthday Playdate

With 16 kids under the age of 4 and 9 adults/mamas, the crazy Mickey Mouse birthday playdate was a success!

Poor Mickey took a beating, but a good time was had by all!
