Rewarded

We took some family pictures this morning thanks to David's talented sister Bethany and her photography company, August & Iris. Let's just say Q was more cooperative last year, but hopefully some will turn out okay. They got rewarded with Stan's Donuts because nobody ever said photoshoots for kids were fun.

Slip N Slide

23 Months Old

My baby boy is on the verge of two and seeming very big. Now that he thinks he is big, he no longer wants to ride in the stroller, sit in a booster seat and be buckled into a car seat. He is getting more words which is helping him communicate and feel less frustrated.  Quinn's done pretty good at swim lessons, for it being his first class without me participating with him. He does his signature call for "help," but does enjoy the water. It's a little preview for him going to school in the fall. My hope is that the fun outweighs the inevitable tears. Now I need to start thinking about his 2nd birthday which is just around the corner!!

Dad Day

Eight years have gone by in a blink of an eye, but I still miss Dad like it was just yesterday that he passed away. So much has changed and life has gone on, yet his spirit is something I always carry with me.  Love you Jer-bear.

Allergy Boy

Not surprisingly, Graham was an excellent and brave patient at his allergy testing. Not a flinch or tear with the almost 45 shots. Graham is allergic to tree pollen, grass, cats and dust mites. Moving forward into fall and spring allergy season, hopefully we will be able to manage it better now.

Nichols BBQ

The Nichols really know how to throw a party. A million toys, new swing set, dancing with neon lights and an outdoor movie with popcorn.

First Timer

Quinn's first time bowling was filled with lots of enthusiasm and cheering for himself.

Pearachute 🍐 Ambassador

There is a new local company called Pearachute, with the genius idea of having drop-in classes at kid locations throughout the city and suburbs. You pay a monthly fee and pick whatever classes you want to attend- from art, sports, music and more.  They are expanding to Oak Park and I am officially a Pearachute Ambassador, which essentially means the kiddos and I get to try out all sort of awesome classes together! Today we tested out Pinstripes TotsBowling in Oak Brook.  Total success and a very close game between the three of them. #pearachute #pearachutekids
