Today was an incredibly special day, especially after the strangest few months of our lives due to Covid. Being able to be with our family to celebrate Aveen's baptism filled my heart (despite the mask wearing at church). And the icing on the cake was that my goddaughter Eleanor became the godmother to my Aveen, wearing the same dress that Ellie and Olivia wore for their baptisms. And we are blessed to have Larry as her godfather, which feels particularly bittersweet with the Powers moving to Charlotte in less than two weeks. Father Carl reminded us that faith and family are always there for you, even in uncertain times and that couldn't be more true.
