NYC Girls Trip - Day 2

We had a delicious breakfast at Clinton Street Baking, then headed to the Museum of Math (Mo Math) to explore my girl's favorite subject.  And Elle and Livie got matched flip sequin shirts.
Empire State Building!
A wonderful weekend with my wonderful girl. She was an excellent traveling companion and we were lucky to have amazing hosts in the Pearsons.

NYC Girls Trip - Day 1

🗽 For Olivia's birthday trip, we headed to New York city for the weekend to spend it with Caitlin, Dave, Elle and Gray Pearson.
We arrived Friday night, went out for burgers, then ice cream.  And Livie sweetly read Elle a book before bed.
Saturday we set out on our adventure.  Subway ride down to Battery Park to take the Staten Island Ferry back and forth to get a great view of the Statue of Liberty.
Then we road the Sea Glass Carousel.
And headed back on the Subway to Times Square to take that all in and visit M&M World.
And then the mama's were exhausted and Livie captured this picture of us "closing our eyes."
Once the ladies rested up, we had some spa time with manis and pedis before going to Crif Dogs for hot dogs, Liv's favorite.

Girl Scout Swim

23 Girl Scouts swimming on a school night! Success.

(T)Baller

Luckily Quinn got into a t-ball class in River Forest for 3-4 year olds.  It's the same class Liv and G took years ago together and was well-run, so I am thrilled a spot opened for him.  Plus Quinn deserves his own tball "team" too.  And he was adorable and loved his first class.

"Thank you for bringing me here."

Hail!

Michigan may not have won the National Championship in basketball, but we're all still fans in the Elsener house. Go Blue!

Birthday Outing

Considering Liv's big trip is going to New York this weekend, we decided to skip having a birthday party this year and instead invited her bestie Kate Griffith to come to Creativita and Brown Cow.
They chose to paint matching fairy garden teapots. Adorable.
