Red Wings!

The Red Wings t-ball season kicked-off tonight with their first game.  This is likely one of the only times Olivia and Graham will be on the same team and they are very excited about it.  Plus Daddy has volunteered to help out as much as he can. I was shocked at how successful the game went with runs, outs and running the bases correctly. O and G both got good hits.
And then I didn't get video, but Graham was playing pitcher and Liv was at first base.  G fielded the ball and threw it to Liv for an out.  Pride! Then Liv tagged one runner out and tagged the base for the third out. Sam would have been in tears had he seen in.  Then it started to pour rain and the game got called. Good times ahead in the next few weeks.

Backyard Beauties

New house surprises! Now need to figure out how to maintain all these pretty flowers.

Lake Week

Despite two kids who still refuse to swim in the lake and just okay-weather, we had a great week. Liv became nature girl--fishing, digging for seashells and exploring the great outdoors. Graham hit about 100 baseballs a day. Quinn improved his mobility skills and is getting closer to walking. Mom and Dad attempted to relax despite the chaos of three kids and are looking forward to real, quiet relaxation in Miami in a few weeks.
And lots of baseball practice in preparation for O and G's Red Wings t-ball team starting next week.
Overall, a great family vacation!

Bullfrog Hunting

Livie spotted a giant bullfrog under the dock near the shoreline and after many failed attempts, Daddy finally caught him with a net.  Very exciting.  Meet Bobby the Bullfrog.  He didn't become a prince when Sam air-kissed him, so we returned him into Little Long Lake.
