I emailed families we know from the few blocks around our house and asked if they could put a simple sheet of paper in their front window saying happy birthday to Liv. Neighbors went above and beyond with their creativity and thoughtfulness. Liv was beaming as she discovered each sweet sign on our afternoon walk.
Plus Julia who babysits for us performed on her violin!
