Happy 7th Anniversary

Seven years flown by with this guy and I wouldn't trade a day of it. The past year was crazy with our housing hunt, construction and moving into a new house. We're glad to say we're settled and getting more settled each week. Year eight should be less eventful hopefully!!

We started the day watching our wedding video with the kids (who quickly lost interest and in very childlike fashion kept reminding me "mom, look there is your dad who is now dead.") Sam and I noted that in Father Ed's sermon about our hands at the wedding - he never included how many poopy butts we would wipe with those hands :)

Then we tested out the new bike trailer and went on a full family bike ride. One son is very fast and full of biking endurance. One daughter is exhausted after one block. One baby son's helmet was so big he could barely hold his head up. Baby steps.  

Then off to test our Oak Park pool passes at Ridgeland which was empty and delightful. Ended that day with a delightful dinner date at Siena Tavern. Happy to have my fabulous hubby and our wonderful life together. Happy anniversary!!
