Skating Pros

O and G started ice skating lessons this week. Liv did better than I expected and kept getting back up and trying.  Poor Graham struggled a little and I could see the frustration on his face, but he kept at it too.  They even made progress from the beginning to the end of class. Should be interesting...

First Lost Tooth!

Olivia lost her first tooth today at school...and she swallowed it!! Last week I noticed her adult tooth had grown in behind her wiggly baby tooth. Well an apple did the trick during lunch and she got a little tooth necklace to put in our tooth pillow instead of her actual tooth. Livie wrote a letter at school explaining that she swallowed the tooth. And good thing I made our family's official tooth pillow yesterday just in time! We can't wait for the tooth fairy's first visit!

Update: The tooth fairy came! She brought Liv $2, floss sticks, and a tooth receipt. She also left fairy dust behind on Liv's nightstand!  Magical!! Graham is now anxiously hoping that he starts losing teeth as well.

Lake Mayan Memories

My family has been going to Lake Mayan in Fort Lauderdale since I was little and my parents bought a condo there. Being there with my own kids last week made me nostalgic for all the memories my family created there for years.  Happy to be able to create more with my own littles and hope they cherish it like I always have.

Fort Lauderdale: Best of the Rest

Fort Lauderdale: Beachin

Water Aerobics

Livie joined the older ladies (as in ladies from their 60s to 90s) for the morning water aerobics class at Lake Mayan.  She fit right in.  I couldn't help but think how it would've made my dad smile because he fondly referred to this particular class as, "dead women swimming."
