Such a special treat to see Cinderella by the Joffrey Ballet with Grandma.

Graham's class had a special tea party for the moms today, complete with tea, cookies and songs.

Stitches

Poor Grahamie got his first stitches tonight. He fell into a metal moving door while we were walking into Target and his forehead immediately split open. If only I hadn't promised to get the kids Popsicles! 

He was incredibly brave at the Loyola ER and barely cried during the whole process, even the giant needle. G was quite fond of the fancy hospital bed and remote control. He told Sam this was his favorite hospital and loved seeing its helicopter. 

Three stitches later and a McDonalds happy meal and we were back home with our sweet boy. 

Special thanks to Grandma Pat for her quick response and help with the other kids. Also props to big sister Olivia for her calm in the crisis and for telling Graham, "Don't worry, maybe they will just use a soft brush to clean it instead of stitches."
