19 Months Old

Quinn is as feisty, fabulous, and funny as ever.  He's very ticklish and has the best belly laugh ever. This past month he's also become obsessed with "Da" and is always looking around the house and calling for him. Recently the boys have taken a real liking to each other and they've become little aggressive, naughty playmates together.  Wrestling, chasing, climbing couches, removing cushions from couches, throwing balls, playing hockey, etc. There is lots of monkey-see, monkey-do happening in our house. Q definitely wants to be part of the action and do absolutely everything the big kids are doing.
Little man still doesn't have many words to communicate, but he makes sure (most often in a high-pitched squeal) that you know exactly what he wants. I've taught him "more" and "all done" in sign language and that's been helping him communicate a little more clearly, but I am hopeful he will start using some more words so he is less frustrated.
One of his favorite activities is dancing.  Somedays when he's in a bad mood, if I put on the Just Dance, his spirits are instantly lifted.  He's developed some of his own signature moves like a leg slide that ends in a splits, which is pretty impressive.  I think the dancing gene clearly comes from his father. We've started taking a music class together and while he's pretty shy and clings to me, he's started to branch out and enjoy himself. I've noticed that he's much shyer than the big kids.  It takes him a little longer to warm up to new surroundings before he starts to enjoy himself and explore.

We love you Quinnie-pie, squeals and all!
