We officially said goodbye to our sweet girl Penny and spread her ashes into Little Long Lake, where she loved to swim, leap and play. We put some in the middle of the lake (where her grand-dogs Dakota and Sheba are too) and then some off the dock where she swam. Graham immediately jump right in, which I wouldn't necessarily have done. And Liv declared she is going to keep the urn the ashes came in. There was a sweet surprise of her paw imprint for Sam to keep. And the non-gift to me is now constantly having to clean up food under my kids, who I just now realized are slobs and drop crumbs and food constantly. I should have thanked Penny more for her vaccumming help.
Goodbye sweet girl. We love you.
